I’ve been doing a lot of shooting of the Zeiss ZF.2 wide angle lenses to answer a variety of questions about how they perform on the Nikon D800/D800E.
The Zeiss 18mm f/3.5 Distagon is one lens I haven’t used for a while, but I made a point of shooting it a fair amount on this trip, since it slots in between the 15mm f/2.8 and the 21mm f/2.8.
I’m wrapping up my trip and will soon be reporting on a wide variety of topics, not just Zeiss, but also Canon and Olympus and the Sony RX100.
My trips can be exhausting, but I woke up in time to see the sun rise yesterday. Not terribly exciting, but better than dull and gray— lots of rain in the mountains this past week.
