Olympus Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 ED Aperture Series (More Bristlecones)

Olympus Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 ED @ f/4

In my Guide to ALLVIEW are published two more aperture series for the newly-released Olympus Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 ED, using the Olympus OM-D E-M5.

These two examples follow the four prior aperture series examples and the 53-megapixel panorama example.

Sharpness

The Bristlecone Slop in Patriarch Grove is what I consider the most imporant example yet, as it shows the full potential of the Olympus Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 ED without any focusing ambiguity due to its 3D front-to-back nature, as well as providing clear guidance on diffraction on the Olympus OM-D E-M5.

At about $899, the Zuiko 75/1.8 is well worth having for the Micro Four Thirds shooter looking for a compact telephoto lens.

The bristlecone stump series is an interesting study in sharpness and bokeh.
