Fujifilm GF 63mm f/2.8 R WR Fails on Fujifilm GFX100, Lens Totally Inoperable
The Fujifilm GF 63mm f/2.8 R WR worked for me the first day of shooting, but after that the Fujifilm GFX100 just will not work with it (Fujifilm firmware is/was up to date, so not a firmware issue, I even redid the update to no avail).
I cleaned the contacts (they already looked spotless), but no-go.
The other four Fujifilm GF lenses are working just fine.
Looks like I won’t be covering the GF 63/2.8 on the GFX100 more than the one initial day’s shooting (not much). There’s not really any option for me to receive or swap out any lenses out here in the Eastern Sierra.
That’s a darn shame because the GF 63/2.8 is a nice compact lens to work with, though my favorite is the Fujifilm GF 45mm f/2.8 R WR.
