Heading to Mountains Again...
This site will be pretty quiet for about 10 days since I will be out in the mountains hiking all my favorite places, as I did earlier in August. In a year that is unprecedented in its abundandance of life and beauty. Don’t miss it, if you have the ability to get to the Eastern Sierra or White Mountains.

It’s a great feeling hiking around up here—the clouds and sky, the Eastern Sierra in the distance, a light breeze, easy hiking, flowering plants and buzzing insects—awesome! The human figure adds a touch that I like to lend a sense of scale.
