I’m not sure how or where an image like this is useful, what with its extreme aspect ratio and 250° field of view. But it correctly conveys the sense of an immense open space I felt while there. I love such places.

At 65116 X 4944 pixels = 322 megapixels, it has solid resolution. I would have shot it in portrait mode to yield more foreground, but I did not have an L plate on the camera.

What impresses me is just how perfect a panorama that PTGUI made with no effort on my part. Seamless defect-free results are mighty impressive.
