I continue to be impressed with the stitching capabilities of PTGui.
However, in cases like this, the results with a cylindrical projection from 3 frames are disappointing in terms of sharpness towards the edges—very much stretched and not crisp detail. An equirectangular projection is far more satisfying in detail rendition, remaining nicely crisp right to the edges.
