This aperture series looks at sharpness across the field and near to far at 17mm from f/2.8 through f/13. It also includes a 3-frame focus stack at f/8.

It is very rare for me to tone an image like this, but I liked the effect versus just plain black and white, and I was not thrilled with the crummy morning light. OTOH, it looks good in color also—I’m on the fence on it.
