Leica M11 Monochrom

ISO Series, 125 to 200000

This page explores noise from ISO 125 to ISO 200K using an out of focus scene of varying tones which reveal the nature of the noise involved.

Both reduced size images and crops are presented in order to directly show how usable images are each ISO value.

ISO Series, Picnic Table

Printed at 144 dpi, a full-resolution image from the Leica M11 Monochrom would be 66 inches = 2 meters wide (9528 wide images). This resduced size image when viewed at actual pixels on a display having ppi of 144 (eg a 32-inch 4K display) would thus simulate the effect.

The entire frame is presented below at 1/2 linear resolution eg 15 megapixels from the 60MP sensor.
