MTF: 24mm f/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH
The MTF suggests a wave-type field curvature , confirmed with field shooting examples showing that the curvature arcs forward at the edges— a conflict with most landscape photography, see the examples
Performance at f/2.8 with flat (planar) subjects can be expected to be mediocre away from center; there is just too much field curvature. This is definitely not a good lens for shooting buildings and similar subjects but it might help in interiors, were an encroaching wall would thus be sharper.
At f/5.6, astigmatism on fine detail develops approaching the edges and this is hinted at in field images, depending on the type of image detail.
