These extensive examples should yield an excellent idea of both the lens performance as well as what to expect from the Leica M11 Monochrom.
Why buy an f/1.4 lens if its quality wide open is poor with extreme field curvature (eg Leica 21/1.4). Not so the Voigtlander Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical. Bokeh and 3D feel with the Voigtlander 21/1.4 are outstanding, with sharpness as good as you can hope for from a wide angle for Leica M.
