Tenaya Canyon to Cloud’s Rest, as seen from NE ridge
It was very windy, and while I wanted a better vantage point, wind and physical infirmity kept me from exploring for a better vantage point.
That this 6-frame 125MP panorama is massively superior even to 6X17 film should be self-evident at the full-resolution size. I shot it in 15 seconds or so, and processing into the finished panorama only took 5 minutes. And I had not even established the entrance pupil (“nodal point”) of the lens so the individual frames overlapped not so well. Yet Adobe Photoshop did a bang-up job in creating a seamless panorama.
