Conness Lake #2, Mt Conness Eastern Ridge @ 35 mm (focus stack)

I’m really pleased with the detail I obtained in this scene, even if I could wish for a bit more in the outer zones—fantastic!

Compare the single frame to the 2-frame focus stack. The stacked image pulls in the immediate foreground detail, the detail in the glacial polish and water at bottom left, and the boulder at bottom right. The total effect is truly worthy of the 100 megapixel designation. As usual, the GFX100S failed in getting a sharp INF shot, and the stack had to use the one I had shot manually for INF focus.
