Adapting Lenses to the GFX: Reader Comments

Because of extensive shutter modes, the Fujifilm GFX holds promise for adapting just about any lens from any format.

Unfortunately, testing shows that the promise of adapting lenses is far more appealing than the reality, which shows poor results.

Excuse my ignorance, but will this new camera take Nikon-mount lenses?

DIGLLOYD: yes, and already before the GFX has shipped Fotodiox has announced the Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount Adapter series for Fujifilm GFX, adapting {Canon EOS, Contax/Yashica, Mamiya 645, Nikon F-mount G Type, Olympus Zuiko OM}lenses. Which is a mostly pointless affair for all most of those brands and lenses. What seems to be missing is a manual adapter for plain-old non-G F-Mount Nikon lenses, like Zeiss ZF.2 Otus. However, the Canon-mount Otus lenses should work fine.
