Hasselblad XCD 65mm f/2.8

Distortion for Hasselblad XCD 65mm f/2.8

Barrel distortion is exceptionally well controlled, reaching only about 0.3% into the extreme corners—truly outstanding for a normal lens on any format. At this level of distortion, few scenes will need distortion correction.

Distortion correction could take care of this distortion with minimal loss to micro contrast since very little stretching needs to be done. But the distortion is so low that leaving it uncorrected most of the time is the best course.
