Tigger Stretched-Out, Sleeping
This example shows that edge performance drops off sharply even at f/2.8, and even without the distortion correction that will degrade sharpness even further. It is unacceptably soft especially on the left side—follow the 'cut' of sharpness across the pavement. This is a brand-new lens sample, and it does not look good on the left side here or in any other image. So much for Sigma’s claim of MTF testing each lens—poor quality control.
