Sony A7

A7 Shutter Vibration (none) at 280mm

See About Shutter Vibration.

This series is the same lens and exactly the same everything as with the A7R 280mm series; the lens remained fixed and the camera body was swapped. This series shows that the A7 electronic first curtain completely eliminates the shutter vibration of the A7R.

The electronic first curtain shutter of the Sony A7 means a zero-vibration exposure at all shutter speeds. Use a wireless remote to eliminate any risks of camera movement caused by pressing the shutter release.

The only differences seen here are Bayer-matrix spurious resolution and color aliasing errors that vary slightly as the camera moves a few microns with each exposure (from adjusting the shutter speed dial).
