Ricoh GR Real-High World Examples: White Mountain Peak MTB Ascent
The Ricoh GR makes a very fine pocket camera. What better test of a compact camera than to see how it performs when pressed to service as one might normally use it?
In addition, I’ve posted a study of Ricoh GR white balance and tint choice when using Adobe Camera Raw, whose profiles seems to be WAY off the mark. As well as sharpening Ricoh GR DNG files during raw conversion.
The usual retina-grade examples are presented in color, but some also in black and white.
Presented as an experience report with commentary, which I hope is of interest to some readers who like such places. See also 2011 Trek to the Summit of White Mountain Peak.
