Everything is going mirrorless and the once dominant DSLR market isn’t getting much love and won’t ever again. The DSLR has been doomed for years, because computational power will eviscerate any remaining advantages, as I suggested years ago to plenty of email pushback.
The only question is whether the DSLR will die a lingering death, or Canon and Nikon will just announce their exit in a dignified fashion without the slow malaise taking too long.
