Fujifilm GFX100: Total Image Quality Under Duress (On Dana Crest at Sunset)
This page evaluates image quality as a sum total of dynamic range, noise, sharpness, and color quality under extreme duress in raw conversion.
While I took this selfie for my own purposes, it turns out to be an outstanding test of the practical capabilities of the Fujifilm GFX100—a bright sunset with a strongly shadowed backlit subject is a tough test! It demonstrates the total imaging potential at 100 megapixels about as well as any image can. View it at 100 megapixels and judge it for yourself in the context of the aggressive contrast control.

Dang, I want a GFX100 in spite of its flaws—I have never used a more capable camera.
And yes, that’s a double entendre ("duress")—it was a long hike down in the dark over tricky terrain (one rock in 50 might flip or slide, requirng choosing and testing foot placement carefully) that lasted until 11:30 PM—and my back bitched and moaned about it for two days.
