Good Evening from Alabama Hills

See also Good Morning from Alabama Hills. Unfortunately excepting this gorgeous scene, everything to the north went dull dreary gray as a storm front moves in.

This 6-frame panorama was 520 megapixels when cropped and finished, but it present here at only 380 megapixels due to the sharpness loss mentioned in my essay in Phase One IQ4 Design Issues. Even so, the loss is still visible when downsampled by half. But the other superb qualities of the IQ4 image quality are apparent.

An up to 380 megapixel version of this image may be viewed in diglloyd Medium Format in:

Schneider Kreuznach LS 150mm f/2.8 Examples: Alabama Hills and Mt Whitney Area

As usual, the Phase One IQ4 sensor impresses mightily. It just keeps impressing me more.
