This is the extreme wide angle zoom I have been waiting for! Wide-angle fans should have no hesitation in acquiring the about $2998 Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM—it is clearly the finest 12mm lens I have yet experienced. And with a bright f/2.8 aperture and extremely low vignetting, it’s eminently flexible even for night shooting. Yet there is a lot more to be said about it, including its (world record bad?) focus shift at 14mm.
