Fujifilm GFX100S: IBIS Screwups can Also Destroy a Focus BKT Series
Previously, I showed major sharpness destruction from IBIS in handheld shooting. Yeah, IBIS usually helps, but when it fails, it fails catastrophically.
In addition...
IBIS is not compatible with tripod use.
Indeed, it ruined a Focus BKT series, with 6 of 7 frames sharp, then a 7th frame badly blurred.
Normally I turn IBIS off for shooting Focus BKT. Why should I have to do that? It’s always a hassle. And what kind of dimwit engineer enables IBIS for a function which is wrong to use 99% of the time? At the least, there should be a setting to turn it off when Focus BKT is in use.
Isn’t this supposed to be a pro camera?
