PDAF banding and striping noise has been an issue with some cameras, including the Fujifilm GFX100S. Fujifilm never resolved this issue, false internet claims notwithstanding. However, I cannot say if it has been improved (somewhat) or not.
But what about the Fujifilm GFX100 II? No joy, as this page shows.

The good news is that thanks to Adobe Camera Raw, there is a way to fix it, with astonishingly good results. Kudos to Adobe!
