Yes, the EVF is flat-out superior and the color and SNR is a bit better. However, if you're freshly kitting up is it worth $3500-4000 for the EVF when you could get a 100S and 1 or 2 GF lenses? Should you really sell your 100S for the 100 II?

It really comes down to a person al and subjective sense of the value proposition. On that, I cannot advise, but what I can do is call out what really mattered to me. The money part... you’re on your own.

If you can easily afford the GFX100 II, it’s a significantly better experience and the image quality just looks better to me. But at $3100 less, you can buy two of my favorite lenses.
