Iridient Developer Updated for Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, Canon, PhaseOne
A good alternative raw converter supporting many cameras.
Pacific Grove, CA, February 3, 2014 --
This update contains new default ICC profiles and refined camera curves for numerous models from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and others based on major updates to my internal camera calibration tools. RAW image support has been added for the following new cameras along with several bug fixes (including an issue with some IPTC/XMP metadata used by Photo Mechanic) and various improvements particularly to my Adaptive Early Stage noise reduction processing methods.
The Iridient Developer 2.3.3 update can now be downloaded here:
https://www.iridientdigital.com/products/rawdeveloper_download.htmlThis update includes a fix for proper pass through of some IPTC/XMP fields used by Photo Mechanic XMP sidecar files. All Photo Mechanic metadata fields should now pass through successfully when IPTC/XMP metadata is enabled. This update also includes improvements to Adaptive Early Stage noise reduction which now better maintains fine details at high levels while still showing similar levels of overall noise reduction.
This release also includes numerous new default ICC camera profiles and camera curves for most Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fujifilm models from the past few years based on new internal camera calibration tool refinements. Opening image(s) by drag and drop onto the image window is now possible. A monochrome sharpening preview option to aid with fine tuning sharpening adjustments has been added along with various other fixes and improvements.
