The Voigtlander APO lenses continue to deliver stunning results on the Sony A7R V—reference-grade optics. You will not find better value on any platform, and the prices are unbelievably low for what they deliver. The smart move for every landscape shooter is to own all three of these APO lenses. Anything else is just foolish. Yeah, I know y'all want to use a zoom—tough shit—if you are serious about quality, ditch the “good enough” solutions and go for the best. The one zoom exception is the Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM, unrivalled by any prime lens. The new Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II is a fine lens, but excessive field curvature makes it a loser for landscape work.
